Public Relations Fundamentals
This course/workshop centres on the role of Public Relations (PR) for organizations. Participants will be introduced to the definitions, and importance of PR fundamentals. The course/workshop also addresses communication objectives, strategy development, formulation and implementation. Other areas covered for this course include writing, PR events, and media relationships.

Participants will be given a campaign brief during the first (introductory) session*, and thereafter, they will be taught relevant skills needed to complete the project. Participants may also be handed assignments during each session – these will be accumulated for the final project.
